Kevin Spacey

Why am I happy I hear you cry?! Well thats cos the first time in ages I've done a passable drawing in just over an hour!
I am trying to do a portrait of Mr Spacey as a present for a friend, and sketched out two possible ones... this was the one I thought wasn't going to work out. So I fancied just doing something for the hell of it tonight, and just went for it.. didn't think too much, no smudging, no real blending, just letting it flow and see how it turns out. And its actually not that bad! Its not perfect but I had great fun doing it and am pretty happy with the result, I especially like how the eye turned out.

Unfortunately however it didn't scan well at all, I think it was from the reflection of the varying pencil mark directions... anyhoo I adjusted the brightness/contrast a bit in PS and cut it down to take away my outer scribble marks and I think it looks better for it. Has a bit more impact.. but thats just my opinion!
